Technical communication is a fast-evolving discipline that focuses on helping users of products and services perform tasks in an organizational context. This discipline requires connections across organizational functions. During a conference at Université Paris Diderot, technical communication professionals and academics explored the various aspects in which technical communicators collaborate beyond silos. Authors reflected on methodologies such as service learning, design thinking, and agile development. They also looked at intersection points with other disciplines —marketing in particular— and at evolutions related to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. With the texts of?:Rhonda Stanton - Sarah Gunning - Ann Hill Duin, Jason Chew Kit Tham, and Joseph Moses - Scott A.
