The Angel of Assassination

It all started so pleasantly. Six retired history teachers meet every Wednesday for a themed meal based on their favorite historical events.
Soon, a series of murders sweeping through the city spoils their gastronomic pleasure. How and why is the killer, who only targets women's attackers, inspired by their historical themes? 
And above all, why does he imply that he is targeting a member of their group? The threat quickly becomes clear in the form of a text message: “Evil lurks among you. You have 48 hours to find it and expose it...” 
What if evil lurks in more than one member of the group? Who will be the next victim of the killer who calls himself "The Angel of Assassination"? Fear and suspicion set in, and the masks come off. Little by little, everyone abandons their arrogant airs of intellectual superiority to mercilessly indulge in the oldest human practice: trying to survive by attacking others.

Raymond Rainville is a Quebec author. In "The Angel of Assassination", he sought to highlight the incomprehensible violence that destroys the lives of millions of people belonging to the same society and, sadly, often to the same family. This domestic violence, of which women are most often the victims, is by far the most pernicious and devastating.
