Constance de Villeneuve is a young woman with a heartbreaking problem. She is in love with a man called Gaspar De Vaudemont, but Constance’s and Gaspar’s fathers were mortal enemies. As Constance doesn’t know what to do, she decides to ask help from Saint Catherine. But asking help from the saint almost turns out to be deathly for Constance...‘The Dream’ is a gothic short story by Mary Shelley.
