David Lanaspa has been a self-taught illustrator since 1998 and currently resides in southwestern France. An avid skateboarder, he is drawn to the urban scenes and vibe of skate culture and has immersed himself in that world of distinctive music and art filled with people who share the same passions in life. Always ready to capture the moment, he's done a lot of off-the-cuff sketches in the street, during his travels or his free time. His affinity for urban culture and his tendency to listen to his subjects talk as he sketches them are forever present in his work. He has been a fan of comics ever since he was a kid. "Coven" was initially published as a webtoon and then later in a collected hardcover volume, only to then be translated and published in English by Europe Comics (2023).
