Experimental Study of Microwear Formation on Endscrapers

This thesis is an experimental lithic study designed to test the hypothesis that wear patterns which form on stone tools are diagnostic of the material on which the tool was used. The results of the experiments indicate that the hypothesis is substantiated, or not refuted. Published in English.
