After living in New York for several years, Heaven finally keeps the promise she made to her father by returning to Flystowm to take over the family business, a prestigious publishing house. When she arrives, she runs into the handsome and pretentious John, her former lover, who is also the CEO of Hearts, the most famous publishing house in town. But Heaven is determined to turn things around.

John offers her a daring challenge: if Heaven manages to surpass one of their books on the Flystowm bestseller list, he will leave town and hand over the running of his publishing house to her at a reduced price. But if she fails, Heaven will have to go into exile and sell her own publishing company to John.
