Spencer

David Spencer (formerly Szpejnowski) was born in Chicago in 1947. He is a US Army veteran (1969–1971) and has a BA degree in history from Indiana University (1977). He has been married to Marilyn Kay (Reading) Spencer for twenty-nine years, and they live in Lansing, Illinois. David retired from the civil service, after thirty-one years on the job, in December 2014. In 2015, David had a book of poems called Autobiography published through Xlibris. That same year, he also published a historical fiction book called The Golden Stag, also through Xlibris. He is working on another historical fiction book called Ancestry, which is about the history of the Polish people.
